Rory Clegg is the latest rugby talent to emerge from Barnard Castle School under the watchful eye of head coach Martin Pepper.
The England U18 fly half is signed to Newcastle and, following his man of the match performance in a pre-season away friendly against Racing Metro, has made some competitive first XV starts for the Falcons this season.
Already scoring tries, penalties and drop goals; early performances have impressed Newcastle Director of Rugby Steve Bates. With the unfortunate Jonny Wilkinson sidelined again, Rory looks set to add to his senior experience and increase his DOR player rating.
